Advanced Boolean search on Monitors

We’ve enhanced keyword search in Monitors with Advanced Search, giving you more control to build targeted queries using Boolean logic and negative keyword matching.

AND/OR Operators
Combine keywords, hashtags, and mentions using AND and OR operators to broaden or narrow your search.

  • OR Operator: Returns publications containing any one of the specified keywords, hashtags, or mentions.

Example: @dior OR #diorbeauty OR diorbeautylovers
If a publication contains any one of these terms—mention, hashtag, or keyword—it will be included in the results.

  • AND Opertor: Returns publications containing all specified terms.

Example: @dior AND #diorbeauty AND diorbeautylovers
A publication must contain all three—the mention, hashtag, and keyword—to appear in the results.

REFUSE FIELD
Use the Refuse field to exclude irrelevant content from your results.
Any publication containing a keyword, hashtag, or mention added to the Refuse field will be filtered out, even if it matches your AND/OR search criteria.

Why use it?
Advanced Boolean Search helps you reduce irrelevant noise and improve search precision, making it easier to focus on campaign-relevant content—even when using broad brand terms.
