Updating Post Metrics in Monitor
When tracking posts in a monitor, you can update or correct performance metrics at any time. You can enter values manually or use the built-in Optical Character Recognition (OCR) feature to extract them directly from a screenshot.
1. Option 1: Manual entry
Use this method if you only need to adjust a single metric or prefer typing values directly.
- Open your monitor and navigate to the post you want to edit.
- Select the post and open the metric editing window.
- Type the updated numbers directly into the corresponding fields (such as impressions, reach, likes, or comments).
- Save your changes.

2. Option 2: Automatic extraction via OCR screenshot
The OCR tool scans an image of your analytics and populates the metric fields automatically.
- Take a screenshot of the post's analytics or insights screen from the native platform (e.g., Instagram Insights, TikTok Analytics).
- Open the post in your monitor and navigate to the metric editing section.
- Upload your screenshot into the OCR upload area.
- The system will scan the image, match the data, and fill in the corresponding fields.
- Review the extracted numbers to ensure accuracy, then save your changes.

How the OCR scanner detects data
The tool recognises both text labels and platform interface symbols:
- Text labels: It reads terms such as Views, Impressions, Reach, Likes, Shares, Saves, or Comments.
- Icons: It recognizes standard social media icons (such as heart, speech bubble, bookmark, or share icons) and maps the adjacent number to the correct metric.

Tips for best results
- Ensure the numbers and labels in the screenshot are clear and not cropped.
- Avoid low-resolution or blurry images.
- If a metric does not populate after the scan, you can fill in that specific field manually before saving.
